Why?

This training session focuses on resilience and our ability to feel strong even when things change and feel safe whilst stepping outside our comfort zones. A series of activities will guide delegates towards creating a personal resilience programme resulting in a stronger, more confident, and more resilient 'you'.

Employees are under increasing pressure to deliver more with less, and to maintain their sense of motivation and professionalism, on top of juggling their busy lives and relationships. Without the skills to be able to cope effectively with these pressures, employees may experience an increasing sense of stress or development mental ill-health. Organisations are beginning to see the benefits of resilience in maintaining employee wellbeing.

 

How? 

Personal Resilience is our ability to withstand the challenges that life throws our way. Some call it our ‘bounce-back-ability’. This workshop is facilitated in a supportive and non-judgmental way to give delegates space for personal reflection. Through learning new skills and developing our ability for ‘self-care’ delegates often describe this workshop as ‘life-changing’. This workshop helps delegates to develop their resilience by becoming stronger in mind, body, and spirit

1 HOUR, HALF-DAY or FULL-DAY INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP – with built-in activities and discussion topics this interactive workshop will inspire your employees to maintain their inner strength under pressure.

 

TOPICS vary depending on the length of the workshop:

  • Sources of stress and the cost to our health & organisation

  • Where it comes from and why – with some simple neuro-science

  • Mental Health spectrum – what are the signs

  • Defining Resilience

  • Personal Resilience Levels - questionnaire

  • What situations / relationships / behaviours build or reduce our resilience?

  • Assertiveness & Saying ‘No’ in the best way

  • The importance of Self-Compassion

  • Mindfulness – what is it and how to use it

  • Building our Resilience Plan – becoming stronger in MIND, BODY, and SPIRIT

  • Take Action!
