Sleep and our health and wellbeing are strongly linked. Sleep plays an important role in the process of our bodies repairing themselves, and in our brain's consolidation of our memories. Poor sleep increases the risk of ill health which in turn can make it harder to sleep, and the cycle can lead to both physical issues such as weakened immune systems, and mental issues such as anxiety and depression.
